Steven has been in the Maritime industry for almost 50 years since he founded the Lucky group of companies in 1973. He has extensive experience in ship owning, brokering, chartering, trading, manpower and supply, and has run businesses the world over.
Part of his role in Euro Asia Shipping is to recreate the success of his flagship company, Lucky Ship Management which was founded in 1998. He will ensure that the profitable and sustainable business model he created will be replicated in Euro Asia Shipping.
One of the highlights of his career was aiding Cosco Guangzhou to start up the Bitumen business in 2000, convert their fleet and to connect them with Shell Singapore. He has been managing that for 21 years ever since, showcasing his ability to mediate in times of need, to ensure the continuous success of the relationship.
